About

For 2000 years, Catholics have believed Jesus to be truly present inThe Most Holy Eucharist, just as He taught His disciples in John 6. We believe that at each celebration of the Holy Mass, the substance of bread and wine are truly transformed into the True Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Therefore, Jesus is present with us both physically and spiritually. In the Eucharist, Jesus, the Divine Son, is just as present with us in the elements of bread and wine as He was in the form of man 2000 years ago when He walked the earth.

Therefore, if Jesus is truly present (body, blood, soul, & divinity) in The Most Holy Eucharist, then we can gaze upon Jesus and worship Him in His physical presence. Therefore, we are blessed with the awesome opportunity to worship Jesus through Adoration of The Blessed Sacrament, or The Most Holy Eucharist. In  Adoration, the Eucharistic Host (the consecrated bread) is placed in a Monstrance to be adored.

Adoration is open to all. As this is a most solemn time with Our Lord, we ask that silence and revence be maintained at all times in the Church.

Please see the bulletin for Adoration Times or call the Church Office. 361-729-9203
